Our Vision The Schmidt Legacy Foundation seeks to positively impact the lives of those who are challenged by life threatening diseases though patient support and advocacy and by funding advanced research at leading medical institutions in the U.S.

Our Mission The Schmidt Legacy Foundation supports medical research, specifically in the areas of lung cancer, dementia and childhood cancer. We work with prominent scientists and top medical institutions to advance research for these diseases. Our focus is on newly discovered and rapidly evolving therapies along with other cutting-edge treatments and investigative methodologies.  We partner with both research organizations as well as with leading foundations to provide advocacy and patient support for those affected by these diseases.
